01

Why in-home speech therapy?

No one understands a child quite like their parents do. That’s why I believe meaningful progress happens best when support is provided in the home, where communication is most natural and functional. When parents can see real-time strategies for expanding and building on their child’s existing skills, they are better equipped to carry those strategies into everyday routines. This consistency is what helps skills grow and last beyond the therapy session.

02

What ages do you work with?

From babies to teenagers, I support children across all ages and a wide range of speech and language needs. With more than 15 years of clinical experience in preschool, elementary, middle, and high school settings, I bring a well-rounded background to helping to support each child's unique needs.

How do I know if my child needs speech therapy?

The advice I find myself giving parents most often is simple: trust your gut. You know your child best. If something feels ‘off’ in their communication development, it’s worth paying attention to that instinct.

A speech and language evaluation can provide valuable insight into your child’s unique strengths as well as any areas where they may benefit from support. If you’re unsure, a consultation or full evaluation can offer clarity and peace of mind.

Early support is never a bad idea - it simply helps you better understand how your child is communicating and whether any extra support could help them thrive. In many ways, it’s like getting a personalized roadmap for your child’s communication development.

04

Can my child receive speech therapy while waiting for services elsewhere?

Absolutely!  Waitlists for speech therapy in Central Ohio can be incredibly long, which is often frustrating for families who are ready to support their child during critical developmental windows.

Private speech therapy can be an excellent way to bridge this gap, offering earlier access to services and practical, real-time strategies for supporting communication at home. This allows progress to begin right away.
